Who We Are

Adrianne Lind, BA, MA, MSc is the author of Wellness on the Weekly: 52 Fun Prompts For Mindfulness, Movement, and a Whole Lot Less Stress! a mindfulness activist, yoga teacher, meditation guide, podcaster, and journaling host. She is a multi-award-winning blogger and a passionate advocate for U.S. overseas voters. She empowers women and expats through her online communities and has led international women’s clubs.

In 1996, Adrianne discovered Sivananda Yoga. Her chiropractor felt it would help her heal after a four-story drop from a window in Paris, France. At the end of the movement portion of each class, she loved lying on her back with her eyes closed and being guided to a magical place.

With a renewed passion, Adrianne rediscovered Yoga in 2021 after her WWII veteran father’s passing. This time, it was online with Veterans Yoga Project which offers trauma recovery yoga classes led by caring teachers. These classes create a safe space for healing. They supported her through her grief. They inspired her to get her yoga teacher certification from My Vinyasa Practice. Adrianne found that Yoga Nidra was the way to reach the magical place she discovered in 1996.

Adrianne earned her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification in December 2022. Since, she completed over 300 more training hours. This includes certifications in:

  • Yin Yoga
  • Yoga Nidra
  • Trauma-Informed Yoga
  • Yoga Therapy for Grief
  • Yoga Therapy for Depression
  • Mindful Resistance Trauma Recovery Yoga with Veterans Yoga Project
  • Subtle Bodies
  • Restorative Yoga
  • Adaptive Yoga

She is working on several certifications from My Vinyasa Practice: Meditation Level 1, Pranayama, 300-hour, and Somatic Healing.
