Adrianne is a yoga teacher, multi-award-winning blogger, passionate US Overseas Voter advocate, and podcaster. She is known for supporting and empowering women and expats through her online communities and leadership roles with international women’s clubs and other global organizations.
Adrianne discovered Sivinanda Yoga in 1996 intuitively knowing it would help her heal following a 4-story fall out of a window in suburban Paris, France. During her weekly classes, she increasingly looked forward to being transported to a magical place while lying on her back with her eyes closed to finish out the practice. Adrianne rediscovered Yoga in 2021 after her WWII veteran father’s passing. Veterans Yoga Project’s mindful resistance trauma recovery yoga classes facilitated by heart-led teachers provided a safe space that facilitated her grieving process and inspired her to obtain Yoga teacher certification from My Vinyasa Practice. It was during this process that Adrianne learned that Yoga Nidra was the transport to that magical place she discovered in 1996.
Adrianne earned her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification in December 2022 and followed up with over 300 additional training hours including Certifications in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga Therapy for Grief, Yoga Therapy for Depression, Mindful Resistance Trauma Recovery Yoga certification with Veterans Yoga Project, Subtle Bodies, Restorative Yoga, and Adaptive Yoga. She is currently pursuing Meditation Level 1, Pranayama, and Somatic Healing certifications from My Vinyasa Practice.
