Talk with Caring Friends

This may sound easy but can be hard. It was for me.

2 Things You Can Do to Feel Better.

  • Talk with caring friends. I know from personal experience that this is easier said than done. You may feel like a burden or be embarrassed to show your raw emotions. But friends, true friends, want to help and often don’t know what to do. But letting you talk while they listen IS something they CAN do.
  • Let others know if you need to talk. That’s the first step. Your family members can be comfortable people to talk to. Or maybe someone you know who also has experienced a loss. If a neighbor asks how you are doing, talk about it.

To explore how we can work together using Yoga and other mindfulness tools to manage your grief set up a call today.
